Inside the product

Route the pair once and keep the tone intact

The functional Pre/Post setup remains visible on every screen size, with the four routing rules stated explicitly.

1. GateMate Pre

Place the detector at the beginning of the signal chain.

2. Amp and cabinet

Keep the noisy amplifier, cabinet and effects between the two GateMate stages.

3. GateMate Post

Place the attenuation stage after the amplifier simulation.

4. Match the channel

Pre and Post must use the same channel so both halves share one decision.

GateMate Pre reads the clean source at the beginning of the chain. The amplifier and cabinet stay in the middle, and GateMate Post performs the final attenuation after the noisy processing.
